Play All Day

My daughter often wakes up in the morning asking me if it will be a "play all day." And, before starting gymnastics a month ago, our Saturdays usually were play all days.

You can imagine how excited we were one day while shopping in Hobby Lobby when we saw a large, colorful and framed "Play All Day" print. I wanted to purchase it but knew it wouldn't quite fit in her space. So, I recently thought of a way to incorporate it into her current room.

A few years ago, when we moved into our first home, I made some DIY hot air balloons for my daughter's playroom. I thought it would be super cute to add a banner between the balloons declaring a Play All Day.

I purchased a rainbow colored pennant banner, some permanent fabric markers and 3" stencils from Amazon and got to work as I sat on the couch with my hubby watching Netflix.

I'm not quite happy with the way my star turned out- I attempted it free hand after a long day of work and home life. Next time, I will attempt to make my own star stencil. If that doesn't work, I'll be purchasing the star cookie cutter set currently in my Amazon saved for later basket.

If you'd like this banner for a child (or grown up) you know that likes to play all day, head on over to my Etsy store: Crafted on Grace. I promise that the banner I make you will have better looking stars... 😊
